About me
I am a Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in Interactive Design, having graduated in 2020 from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. My career began as a mid-level game developer, where I gained several years of experience working with Unity and Unreal Engine, focusing on building and implementing gameplay mechanics, integrating art assets, and collaborating closely with design and art teams to ensure seamless translation of creative ideas into playable experiences.
Over the past year, I transitioned into a junior software tester role, specializing in Quality Assurance (QA). In this position, I was responsible for creating comprehensive test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring the reliability and performance of game features. I also developed a variety of custom tools for the test team, streamlining daily workflows and enhancing the efficiency of QA processes.
Now, as a Quality Engineer, I leverage my combined expertise in game development and QA to create polished, scalable gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5. My focus is on maintaining high standards of quality throughout the development cycle, bridging the gap between design concepts and technical implementation, and continuously improving testing strategies and tools to support the team’s success.
